The Aaron’s Dream Team hit the road this week to visit the freshly built South Georgia Motorsports Park. This was the inaugural race at the speedway ten miles north of Valdosta, GA in Cecil. It was also only the second USAR ProCup series race for Ken Butler III and the Aaron’s Dream Machine. Clear and windy was the forecast as KBIII set out to qualify the Dream Machine, and he was able to get in the race in the 35th position for the South Georgia 250. He would improve on his 26th place finish in Lakeland two weeks ago to finish 22nd. Veteran Shane Huffman claimed his second victory in as many races.

The Dream Team was not finished after the South Georgia 250. Ken Butler III, Brett Butler, and Michael Foy all entered Aaron’s Dream Machines in the 50 lap Aaron’s Pro Challenge race that followed featured ProCup series. KBIII lead the way for the Dream Team with an 8th place finish. Brett finished the night in 21st and Michael Foy followed in 24th. The Dream Team’s next Aaron’s Pro Challenge appearance will be Saturday April 9th at Senoia Speedway.
