 Aaron’s Pro Challenge in Senoia

(April 9, 2005-Senoia Speedway) The Aaron’s Dream Team had their hands full in Senoia, Georgia. The Aaron’s 99 driven by KBIII qualified 12th, the Aaron’s 98 driven by Michael Foy qualified 28th, and the Aaron’s 00 driven by Brett Butler qualified 15th. On turn one of lap one a car in front of the KBIII and the Aaron’s 98 spun out and the two drivers were caught up in the wreck. KBIII had nowhere to go and was forced right in the middle of the wreck. The 99 Dream Machine suffered severe front body damage and had to come in and have it looked at. KBIII was able to return his car to the track in a quick fashion but with out a front end or a hood and went on to finish 11th. The 98 Dream Machine driven by Michael Foy suffered a broken toe on the front end on the same lap one wreck and was able to salvage a 13th finish. The Aaron’s 00 looked the best on this day. After Brett Butlers 15th start he went on to escape from any car damage and finished 7th. All in all this ended up to be a pretty good day for the Aaron’s Dream Team with all three Aaron’s Dream Machine drivers finishing in the top 15..

The Aaron’s Marketing Team was on hand in Senoia. Early in the day it was overcast and had a scare for rain but by late afternoon it cleared up and the weather was beautiful. The team placed Aaron’s signage strategically around the track for maximum presence for race fans to see. The team set up the 35-foot storefront inflatable in front of the main ticket gate for race fans to walk through as they entered the venue. Inside the main gate is where we had the Aaron’s tent setup for registering to win the 55 Chevy Bel Air as well as registering for a drawing we had that night for three different sets of Talladega tickets and a Michael Waltrip autographed racing helmet. The Aaron’s marketing team gave Aaron’s hats, autograph cards, koozie’s, and cheer sticks away to race fans as they registered for the two drawings.

Next Pro Challenge Race is in Senoia, Ga. on May 14th
