  Homestead Preview

There are only a few events remaining on Aaron’s motorsports schedule for 2005. Michael Waltrip Racing (MWR) will load up several Aaron’s Dream Machines and head to the Homestead-Miami Speedway (HMS) for the NASCAR Championship races in Homestead, Florida, November 18, 19 and 20. With four Aaron’s Dream Machines entered into three Championship races this weekend, Aaron’s and MWR are prepared for an end of year NASCAR blowout, splashing the Aaron’s logo in all three of NASCAR’s premier series.

The No.99 NASCAR Busch Series Aaron’s Dream Machine is scheduled to compete in the Ford 300 at HMS Saturday, November 19 with Michael Waltrip behind the wheel. Waltrip started 22nd in last years event and finished 11th. In addition to the No.99, MWR will enter the No. 98 Aaron’s Dream Machine into the race with NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver David Reutimann. Reutimann is currently 12th in the truck series points race racking up one pole, one win, six top-5’s and nine top-10s this season. The Ford 300 will mark David’s first start in the Busch Series in 2005. Reutimann has 15 previous Busch Series starts in his career with two top-fives and three top-tens. The Ford 300 will determine who will be the 2005 NASCAR Busch Series Champion.

The No.80 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Aaron’s Dream Machine is scheduled to compete in the Ford 400 at HMS Sunday, November 20 with Carl Long at the helm. This will be Long’s 10th NEXTEL Cup race of the year. Kenny Wallace drove the Aaron’s Dream Machine in last years Ford 400, starting 37th and taking the checkered flag 22nd. The Ford 400 will determine the 2005 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Champion.

Aaron’s will also be the primary sponsor on the No. 23 NASCAR Craftsman Truck driven by Johnny Benson for the Ford 200 Truck Series finale. Benson is currently 13th in the points championship with five top-5s and nine top-10s. Benson, who is coming off a third place run at Phoenix International Raceway last Friday night, is only 22 points out of tenth place in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series points.
