Aaron’s Sales & Lease Ownership had a presence at Bobby Dodd Stadium as the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets faced the University of North Carolina this past Saturday. The Sports Marketing team setup a display tent at WreckFest on Yellow Jacket Alley featuring an RCA 52” Wide Screen television with PlayStation 2 and Dream Seat recliners, and invited fans to register to win the Aaron’s Dream Challenge Field Goal promotion at half-time.

Several hundred people registered for a chance to kick a field goal at the half-time promotion. One winner was selected from a random drawing of all of the entries received.

The winner then had a choice of three different prizes to win, each of which determined the distance of the field goal attempt. A JVC 500 Watt Deluxe Shelf System w/ Speakers for a 20-yard field goal, a Dell Inspiron 1200 Laptop computer for a 25-yard field goal or an RCA 52" Integrated HD Wide Screen Projection TV for a 30-yard field goal.

Resident student, Evan Wolfe, was the lucky winner and chose the 30-yard attempt for the RCA television. The crowd grew loud as Evan teed the ball up, and, while concentrating hard on getting the distance, he kicked hard but the ball never got any air and skidded across the grass into the end zone. The crowd booed as Evan shook his head in disbelief. However, Aaron’s gave Evan one more chance to make his dreams come true and Evan set the ball up again.

This time Evan nailed the 30-yard kick perfectly and the ball went dead center through the uprights and the crowd gave him a huge cheer while he celebrated his victory. Congratulations to Evan Wolfe! We hope you will enjoy your new television.

Georgia Tech went on to beat the University of North Carolina 27 to 21 and is undefeated so far this season.
