KBIII Makes 2006 USAR Debut at South Boston Speedway
ATLANTA, GA (March 29, 2006) Ken Butler III gets back behind the wheel this Saturday for the USAR Hooters ProCup Northern Division Aaron’s 250 race at South Boston Speedway in South Boston, VA. This is the first race of the 2006 season for the northern division and will mark KBIII’s first race of the year in the No. 00 Aaron’s Dream Machine. Because of an off-season shoulder surgery, KBIII moved to the northern division to get one extra month of time for his shoulder to heal completely.
KBIII starts his sophomore season in the series and looks forward to the challenges of running some of the tracks he did not get an opportunity to run last year in the southern division. “I ran Jennerstown, Radford and Mansfield last year which are northern division tracks and enjoyed racing those.” Butler said. “And I look forward to some of the other tracks on the schedule like Indianapolis Raceway Park and Shenandoah. I think the competition level will be the same if not tougher than the southern division, so I am anxious to get going and put the Aaron’s Dream Machine in victory lane.”
Aaron’s Sales & Lease Ownership is the title sponsor of the 250-lap event which will be referred to as the Aaron’s 250. You can watch all of the race action from South Boston Speedway Wednesday, April 5 at 5:00 PM on SPEED Channel.
