After a week off for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series, action continued Friday at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway with one practice session followed by qualifying for the UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400. After the practice session Hermie Sadler was 45th on the speed chart completing a lap at a speed of 164.901 mph. Sadler was able to pick up some speed during his qualifying effort, but it was not enough to get the No. 00 Aaron’s Dream Machine into Sunday’s field. Sadler qualified at a speed of 166.052 mph.
Sadler and the Aaron’s team will regroup and move on to the Atlanta Motor Speedway next week.
