There was a lot of action in the NASCAR Busch Series garage on Saturday. With the Stater Bros. 300 being a one-day, impound event, the qualifying session was followed closely by the drop of the green flag.
Michael Waltrip started the No. 00 Aaron’s Dream Machine from the 33rd position. During the course of the race he was able to climb into the top-10, but a late problem in the pits handed the Aaron’s team a 26th-place finish. Greg Biffle went on to win the event.
After two races, Waltrip is 17th in the driver standings.
The Busch Series next heads south of the border to the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City, Mexico.
