All three of NASCAR’s premier divisions attacked the track at California Speedway on Friday. The NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series drivers completed one practice session before qualifying for Sunday’s event. Hermie Sadler qualified the No. 00 Aaron’s race car at a speed of 179.167 mph, which was not fast enough to land him a starting position in Sunday’s field.
Sadler and the Aaron’s team will now focus their attention on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The NEXTEL Cup Series regulars will head to “Sin City” on March 12th.
