Sherrill's Ford, NC (June 16, 2004) Michael Waltrip Racing, Inc. announced today that veteran driver Randy LaJoie will practice and qualify the No. 99 Aaron's Dream Machine for the upcoming Meijer 300 NASCAR Busch Series race at the Kentucky Speedway. Practice and qualifying for the event are scheduled for Friday, June 18, 2004.

The two-time Busch Series Champion LaJoie has 313 career starts, 15 wins, 9 poles, 62 top-fives and 115 top-tens during his 18-years behind the wheel of a Busch car. He has competed in four Busch Series races so far in 2004.

The Meijer 300 will be the first Busch Series race Waltrip has competed in as a driver. In June 2001, Michael Waltrip Racing, Inc. entered the Aaron's Dream Machine in the Busch race with driver Kerry Earnhardt. Earnhardt started 30th and finished 20th.
